Privacy policy
Your trust matters. So does your privacy.
At Education Advantage (EA), we believe looking after people extends to the information they share with us. Whether you're getting in touch, attending an event, entering a competition, or exploring a career with our team, we want you to feel confident about how your personal details are handled. Here's what we collect, why we need it, and how we take care of it.
What we collect and why
When you interact with EA, we collect information you choose to share, such as your name, contact details, school or organisation, and anything relevant to your enquiry, registration, competition entry, or job application. We use this information to respond to your questions, deliver our services, organise events and competitions, and consider applications to join our team. If you've signed up to receive updates, you can unsubscribe whenever you like.
How we look after your information
We take the responsibility of protecting personal information seriously. We take reasonable steps to safeguard the details held in our systems and records against misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. We keep information for as long as it's needed for its intended purpose or to meet legal requirements. When it's no longer required, we take steps to securely delete or de-identify it.
Your information, your say
Want to know what personal information we hold about you, have something corrected, or raise a concern? We're here to listen. Simply email info@eduadv.com.au, and we'll acknowledge your request, look into any concerns, and respond within a reasonable timeframe. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
As EA grows and evolves, the way we handle information may change too. We'll keep this policy updated to reflect our current practices, with the latest version always available right here.
